May 2023, Herrenknecht Vertical GmbH, manufacturer of tailor-made highly automated drilling rig solutions, is pleased to announce the signature of a purchase agreement for a complete drilling rig package consisting of a hydraulic drilling rig (250mt, Rack and Pinion hoisting system), mud farm, power generation using diesel/gas gensets, well control, drill string and other drilling related equipment to the Brazilian energy provider and largest private natural gas onshore operator ENEVA S.A..

The rig package will be initially operated in the Maranhão State in the north of Brazil for Reservoir2Wire (R2W) applications, supporting the evolving Brazilian energy transition with new and cleaner sources of energy.

The hook load capacity of the rig is 250mt and the rig package is designed for fast rig moves.
