IWCF Rotary Drilling Well Control training has been developed by the International Well Control Forum (IWCF) for personnel performing critical well control responsibilities on both offshore drilling installations and onshore.

The training covers all aspects of Rotary Drilling Well Control and is broadly divided into 3 components:

• Well Control Principes and Procedures.
• Well Control Equipment.
• Well control simulator training.

The participant will be trained and assessed on each of the above components.

IWCF Drilling Well Control Level 3 and 4 training is a combined class.

The course is delivered through interactive lecturing supported by animations, group discussions, desktop exercises and alternated with simulator exercises.

It focuses on surface BOP operations.
